Slay the octovine! (southgate)
- Welcome to the "Slay the octovine! (southgate)"!
- The octovine is covered in slime that makes it immune to conditions and damage. A large explosion may remove the slime.
- An Exalted Explosive spawns at the start of the room, which slowly moves forward to the octovine.
- The process can be supported with additional control effects to push it to the octovine to remove five slime layers per bomb.
- This can only be done by players using skills with knock back and launch on the explosive (pull also works but is more difficult to use).
- Avoid the vine-covered fields left by the Bonebreakers as they roll around the area.
- If the explosive passes these fields it will be wrapped in vines, rendering it immobile until its Defiance Bar is broken (use CC to break it out of vines).
- CC stands for Crowd Control. Here is a list of effects considered CC: Daze, Fear, Float, Knockback, Knockdown, Launch, Pull, Sink, Stun, Taunt.
- Soft CC are less effective, but still useful: Blind, Chilled, Crippled, Immobile, Slow, Weakness.
- Enchanted Armors cannot interact with the explosive and should focus on protecting with control effects to move the Triggerblossoms away from the players (to the sides).
- You can do it with just your skill 1 (will stun most of the mobs and push tigger blossoms away from you).
- Make sure not to push the tiger blossoms into player crowd, it will get them all killed.
- Armors should also attempt to keep the Bonebreakers disabled (using Compulsion or Freezing Blast; either instantly stuns them) and defeat Mordrem Breachers.
- When octovine is at about 10% - STOP your damage. All 4 octovines have to be defeated within 2 minutes after first one dies.
- So wait until other sides are ready and then finish it.
